Rustam is 16 years old, a kind, friendly, and active boy. He loves helping his parents around the house and dreams of becoming a farmer like his father. But these dreams and hobbies have had to be put on hold for now, because right now, Rustam's most important thing is to get well.
In March 2024, Rustam began experiencing severe headaches, dizziness, and tinnitus. Alarmed by their son's condition, his parents went to a local hospital, where an MRI was performed and a brain tumor was discovered. Rustam underwent surgery in his home country of Kyrgyzstan, but its location made it impossible to completely remove the tumor. For further treatment, doctors advised his parents to seek treatment at a clinic in Russia, as there are doctors there who specialize in this type of tumor. Rustam's family was forced to sell some of their belongings to pay for the surgery in Russia.
Rustam is currently undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy at the Voyno-Yasenetsky Scientific and Practical Center, and the whole family, including Rustam himself, is very hopeful for help. They've already completed several rounds of chemotherapy, but the treatment must continue, and the family's resources are already exhausted. Rustam's mother, two younger sisters, and friends are waiting for him at home. They miss their older brother, with whom they can always hang out and watch cartoons.
