6 times a week, our food kitchen works for the benefit of the lonely and weakened elderly. This is a group of elderly people who lack the strength and resources to organise their own meals. Thanks to you and me, the elders receive a full and varied daily lunch, baked goods, seasonal vegetables and fruit. During the time we deliver meals to needy elderly people, we have noticed a tendency to normalization of weight in our elderly, a joy of meeting our couriers and other employees of the foundation, a sparkle in their eyes and an improvement in their spirits. Our project is not just about food, it's about attention and participation. And since all the project participants lack the support of their relatives, we can safely speak of comprehensive care for lonely elderly people. In August, thanks to you, 84 people received comprehensive meals and food aid. Thank you very much, tubers!

Lonely destitute elderly people need food

Our foundation organised the preparation and delivery of hot meals to lonely, weakened and underprivileged elderly people without support from relatives. Each of our charges' stories is a personal drama that has led to loneliness and need, and our project gives the elderly people faith that people care about them. There are 84 elderly people in the care of the Foundation, whom we feed 6 times a week. The programme is not easy and requires a lot of funding, but it is essential for the survival of our elderly clients. We feed them a balanced menu of meals designed specifically for the elderly. The food is delicious and healthy. And good nutrition can improve a person's quality of life and longevity. We are asking you to support our project and help us raise the necessary amount of money to feed the newly admitted 30 needy elderly people. We will use the money raised to buy food and disposable dishes, and organise the delivery of meals to the home of the elderly.
