Ahilles is a wonderful young cat. Handsome, affectionate and friendly. Such a cat has no place in a shelter, and we really expected him to find a home quickly. But trouble befell the tail. Suddenly, the baby began to have serious health problems. Doctors have started examinations in our clinic and conducted the necessary tests.
It turned out that Ahilles is a carrier of coronavirus. In most animals with normal immunity, the disease passes without serious consequences. But Ahilles' condition was getting worse every day. All the symptoms indicated the development of infectious viral peritonitis (FIP) - lethargy, fever, swollen abdomen (fluid accumulation) and gastrointestinal problems. There was little time, so we urgently sent the cat to an outside clinic for examination. Ahilles was given a biopsy under anesthesia for further cytology, and a PCR test for corovirus was repeated, which confirmed the disease.
Now the foundation needs your help in paying for examinations for baby Ahilles. Please support the collection. Thank you in advance for your participation and support!
