Obtaining a second medical opinion is a significant stage in the treatment process, allowing for the determination of the most optimal patient management strategy and the development of an effective recovery plan.

Thanks to the support provided, 16 adult patients with oncological diagnoses received highly qualified consultations at federal clinics. During these consultations, specialists gave comprehensive answers to all questions posed, in a form that was easy to understand.

Cancer patients need medical consultations for the most effective treatment

Elena has cervical cancer. She has undergone 6 courses of therapeutic chemotherapy, surgery to remove her ovaries, radiation therapy, and immunotherapy. The repeat chemotherapy was difficult for her — it was the second time she lost her hair. Complications in daily life arise from symptoms such as shortness of breath, weakness, and body pain. Her weakened condition does not allow her to move freely, but Elena tries as much as possible. During the treatment, metastases appeared, but she did not give up.
