Foundation Moscow

Maxim was born at 30 weeks of gestation as a result of an emergency cesarean section with severe asphyxia. He spent the first weeks of life in intensive care on mechanical ventilation, followed by treatment in a neonatal pathology unit. After discharge, developmental delays became noticeable, and regular rehabilitation began. At the age of two, Maxim was officially diagnosed with cerebral palsy (spastic diplegia) along with several associated conditions. Specialists note a high rehabilitation potential; however, progress is possible only with continuous therapy and support from qualified professionals. Maxim is currently a fifth-grade student at a mainstream school. He is socially active, communicates with peers, shows interest in learning, and enjoys swimming and cycling. In April 2025, Maxim underwent a complex orthopedic surgery on both legs. To maintain the results of the surgery and continue developing walking skills, he needs a specialized walker with arm support that will allow him to move independently. Unfortunately, his family is unable to cover the cost of this equipment on their own. Let’s help purchase the walker that will enable Maxim to continue his rehabilitation and preserve the progress he has achieved.
