Artam is 16 years old, and his typical day doesn't begin with a cup of coffee or social media, but with taking his medication. The young man has a primary immunodeficiency — his immune system has never worked at full capacity, so his body struggles to fight infections and inflammation, which has led to several chronic conditions. The most serious of these is Crohn's disease, a severe intestinal inflammation that causes pain and requires constant monitoring.
Daily pills, mandatory IV infusions twice a month, and trips to Moscow every six months for check-ups. Artam used to box, but now his energy is focused on his studies — he's learning programming in college. His biggest dream right now is to become a support for his parents, who have been by his side all these years.
Right now, Artam urgently needs another course of expensive medication — immunoglobulins. It is currently impossible to obtain them through state benefits, and his family can no longer cover such costs on their own. We are opening a fundraiser to meet this urgent need. To ensure Artam's treatment continues without dangerous interruptions.
