Akhmad was born in 2020. From an early age, the boy has exhibited delayed psychoverbal development. Currently, Akhmad is nonverbal, understands only partial speech, does not always respond to his name, makes brief eye contact, and does not interact with other children. His speech consists of isolated words and repetitions, and he lacks a developed vocabulary.
Medical reports revealed a diagnosis of psychoverbal development disorder, level 1 general speech underdevelopment (GSD), with behavioral disorders and emotional stereotypies. Akhmad is being monitored by a neurologist and psychiatrist and previously received outpatient treatment. Currently, based on his examination results, he is recommended for comprehensive rehabilitation.
Akhmad grows up in a family of six. His mother, Zarema, is a housewife and provides full-time care for the children. His father, Magomedbek, works as a car mechanic. His income only covers the family's basic needs. For over a year, Akhmad's parents have been taking him to classes themselves which is becoming an unbearable burden for the family.
Zarema approached the foundation asking for help paying for a rehabilitation course, which Akhmad desperately needs now, at an age when treatment produces the best results.
