Salmon is 1.3 years old. His name means "prosperous, friendly" in Arabic. His parents spent a long time choosing a name for him—they wanted something kind and bright. "And that's what we got. He's a happy, cheerful little boy. He loves toys, and we love him," says his mother, Farzonakhon. At the beginning of the year, his parents noticed something was wrong with their son: he was crying a lot, his skin had turned a pale, sallow color, and a rash had appeared on his legs. They immediately consulted a doctor, who diagnosed him with leukemia. Salmon is a citizen of Tajikistan, so all treatment is paid for. The boy has already undergone several courses of chemotherapy, and the disease was temporarily under control. However, after several months, his condition began to worsen, and doctors prescribed anti-relapse therapy. The family's resources are exhausted, but the treatment must continue.
