Arina is 7 years old and has Cerebral Palsy. Despite her physical limitations, her cognitive abilities are fully intact. She is a curious and active girl: she attends kindergarten, adores the theater, and loves playing with her older brother. Her teachers highlight her intelligence and remarkable work ethic: Arina is currently mastering an eye-tracker to control a computer with her gaze as she prepares for school.
Through continuous therapy, Arina has learned to hold her head up, sit with support, and use a spoon on her own. She is already taking her first steps using a walker, which brings her immense joy. Her previous course of dolphin therapy was a major breakthrough: it strengthened her core muscles, improved her emotional regulation, and helped her develop internal speech.
Now, rehabilitation is critical for her transition to the first grade. Another course of dolphin therapy will help Arina handle the upcoming demands of school, further strengthen her back and neck muscles, and provide a new boost to her speech development.
