Polina is 7 years old and has Cerebral Palsy. Due to birth complications, her heart did not beat for four minutes, but doctors managed to save her life. Polina only returned home at two months old, and from that moment on, her persistent work on every movement began.
Over the past seven years, the girl has achieved significant progress: she can now crawl on all fours, walk with support, and is already taking her first independent steps. Polina has a form of CP characterized by hypotonia, meaning her muscles are overly relaxed and weaken quickly. Without constant stimulation during growth spurts, she risks losing her progress, making it physically difficult for her to support her own body.
A specialized massage course is a vital necessity for Polina. It helps "wake up" the muscles and bring them into the necessary tone. This provides the physical foundation she needs to reinforce her walking and coordination skills.
Let’s come together to help Polina complete her massage course and make her movements more confident!
