These specialized formulas are essential for them on a regular basis, as they are a crucial part of their diet—regular food is very poorly absorbed. Only thanks to these formulas can the children gain strength and receive all the necessary vitamins and micronutrients. Specialized formulas are prescribed by doctors and are often just as important as medication.

8 children with disabilities require specialized nutrition

Most of the disabled children in Umka's care have special nutritional needs, as they are unable to obtain the necessary nutrients, trace elements, and vitamins from regular food in sufficient quantities.

To address this deficiency, doctors prescribe nutritional formulas for children; for many, they are as important as medication.

Children require medical nutrition on a regular basis, so we always strive to help their families.
