A huge thank you to everyone who helped Lera get tested! Her condition has worsened. Doctors haven't yet established a definitive diagnosis; they're awaiting the results of genetic testing. Lera underwent a routine cardiac follow-up examination. Following the examination, Lera has been scheduled for a planned heart surgery in Moscow, tentatively scheduled for September 9th of this year.

We're keeping our fingers crossed for Lera and awaiting the test results together with her family. Thank you for your help!

Lera has a heart condition and needs to be examined!

Valeria is 13 years old and has been rock climbing since she was five. She has recently been diagnosed with a severe heart condition.

From the age of 10, she trained at the Perm Krai Olympic Reserve Sports School of the Russian Climbing Federation, and at 11, she joined the regional team. She has achieved significant success: she has won prizes at regional and district championships and competed in national tournaments. She already holds one adult rank – a testament to her perseverance and talent.

She is currently under strict monitoring by cardiologists and is taking medications that merely stabilize her condition. To begin comprehensive treatment, doctors must identify the underlying cause of the condition. A geneticist has determined that an expensive genetic test will shed light on the cause of the girl's sudden illness. Help Lera get tested!
