To take a found animal to the shelter.
This time the call was a regular one. We got a call
on the hotline and said there were two Bengal cats living at the dumpsters.
"Bengals - yes live by the dumpsters? That's new," we thought. The situation is clearly out of the ordinary. And meanwhile the problem is serious: now in Russia nobody is breeding control of purebred animals, there is no accounting.
One Bengal kitten can cost up to 70 thousand. And we do not know and never will find out the reason why these cats are on the street, what is wrong with them. Could they even be completely healthy? (We have yet to find out.)
Our handlers took a chance and took
both cats to a holding facility. Now is the toughest time, and we really need your help. We have two challenges:
1. To fully rehabilitate the cats, to prepare them for home life.
2. To find owners who will not betray them again.
We really want to find them a home as soon as possible. We hope that together with you we will save these innocent creatures!
We are asking for help to stop the conveyor belt of abandoned offspring. People breed kittens and then abandon them. The kittens grow, breed, and there are more suffering animals in the yards. They have offspring again... They starve, they get sick, they carry parasites, they die.
Do we want that future-with streets crawling with neglected animals? I think not!
Let's stop this vicious circle together.
