Manap is ten years old, and he has been diagnosed with autism with a marked disorder of the first level of general speech underdevelopment (OND). The first alarming signs appeared when the boy turned one and a half years old: his parents noticed a change in the child's behavior — he stopped responding to his name, eye contact and pointing gestures disappeared. This was the beginning of communication difficulties: the boy did not respond to treatment for a long time, did not like noisy places and music, had problems with speech and the development of large and fine motor skills.
However, thanks to perseverance and numerous rehabilitation measures, there was a significant improvement in the boy's condition. Today, Manap actively interacts with teachers, and his emotional and physical development has significantly improved. The boy has mastered the ability to expect, maintain body balance, and significantly expand his vocabulary.
But progress requires continuation. In order to consolidate the successes achieved and master new skills, systematic classes with qualified specialists in sensory integration, neurohymnastics and speech correction from a speech therapist are necessary. Unfortunately, parents do not have enough resources to pay for such an important course of treatment.
