Shamil is only five years old. For the first two years of his childhood, he developed normally, matching the age of his peers. But after reaching the age of two, parents began to notice their son's lack of speech. After contacting specialists — a neurologist and a psychiatrist — the family had to undergo a number of diagnostic procedures, which resulted in the diagnosis of "delayed speech development." Medical treatment and specialized classes began, thanks to which the child began to pronounce individual words.
Nevertheless, in order to fully develop speech and adapt to society, Shamil needs a full cycle of comprehensive rehabilitation. Unfortunately, the cost of the necessary courses is high, and the family will not be able to cover the costs on their own.
