Jamila is six years old. The girl suffers from autism, accompanied by a delay in mental, speech and motor development. Treatment began at the age of two and a half, when the girl did not respond at all to the people around her or to external stimuli. Thanks to the many rehabilitation courses she has completed, Jamila has learned to respond to her name, but tantrums still happen, especially in the presence of strangers. So far, the girl has practically no speech, only rare, unintelligible words.
In order to ensure further socialization and prepare the girl for school, it is vital for her to continue continuous classes aimed at developing speech and communication skills. But treatment requires significant financial costs, and family assistance is extremely limited.
