For the 11th year in a row, Vitya has been regularly undergoing check-ups and consultations—this is the key to his health and protection against a recurrence of the cancer he overcame at an early age. This year, the most important part of this examination—a consultation with the country's leading pediatric oncologist—was made possible thanks to your support.

"It is very important for us not to miss any stages of regular check-ups and tests, so that we can detect any deterioration in time and take action if necessary," writes Vitya's mother. "Now the results have shown that everything is stable for my son, and we need to continue dynamic monitoring. Vitya was very happy about this: for him, knowing that everything is fine gives him strength and the opportunity to plan for the future. This year he finished 9th grade, did well on the OGE, and moved on to 10th grade. He is seriously interested in backgammon; in June, he won the Chempionat Saratovskoy oblasti in short backgammon and is preparing for the next tournament in a month."

Along with Vitya, 7 other children—cancer survivors—also received help. In total, 10 consultations were paid for; two children had repeat consultations a few months apart, as their test results were not very good and it was necessary to monitor how the adjusted treatment was working over time.
