Khalid is 4 years old and has a delay in psychomotor development. By the age of 2, his behavior began to change, and he lost all his skills. Khalid lacked a pointing gesture, did not make eye contact, and did not respond to his name. He became very moody, anxious, and uncoordinated.
Khalid does not speak, only utters syllables. Recently, he has learned to build a tower and sort objects by color. The boy has developed an understanding of spoken language at a basic level and can follow simple instructions. Khalid enjoys using public transportation and going for walks, but prefers to be alone and avoids interacting with other children.
To improve his skills, Khalid requires comprehensive rehabilitation that includes sessions with a behavioral analyst, as well as specialists in adaptive physical education and sensory integration.
