This beautiful young cat was found in a stairwell. The vet diagnosed her with pyometra — a dangerous uterine infection that could have been fatal without surgery.

Thanks to your support, we were able to cover the cost of her surgery, and Celebrity came through it well. After recovering, she quickly regained her strength and soon went to her new home.

Now Celebrity lives with a family that loves and cares for her. She sends us happy updates from there and brings joy to her new owners with her calm and trusting nature.

Celebrity the cat needs surgery!

We found Celebrity the cat in the entryway of our building. We took her to the vet and learned she had purulent pyometra. This means the uterus is inflamed and infected internally. Without urgent surgery, the cat could die.

Celebrity is only two years old. She's young, beautiful, and very affectionate, despite the pain. She has a great chance of not just surviving, but becoming healthy, happy, and finally finding her forever home. But first, surgery.
