Murad is seven years old. As a very young child, at the age of two and a half years, the parents noticed a lag in the development of the baby and turned to a neurologist. The doctor diagnosed delayed speech development and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The family began an intensive process of treatment and classes: they underwent drug therapy, worked with a neuropsychologist, tried bac therapy and much more. The effect was minimal, and there was almost no progress.
It was only at the age of four that the parents decided to visit a psychiatrist, who prescribed special medication. It was this that gave the first significant result in many years: Murad began to speak, albeit slowly, but the reaction to adult treatment became clearer.
His mother is currently raising her son alone. For the past two years, he has been receiving ongoing treatment from teachers, neuropsychologists, and special education specialists. These sessions help maintain his developmental progress, but they are extremely expensive. If the sessions are stopped, all the work will be for naught.
Mom's goal is simple and noble: to raise Murad so that he can go to school and live the full life of an ordinary child.
