Polina is 16 years old and has Cerebral Palsy (spastic diplegia). Due to the severity of her condition, she is unable to stand or walk independently and uses a wheelchair for mobility. Despite these physical limitations, Polina excels in the 8th grade at her gymnasium, where she studies foreign languages and has a keen interest in history. She leads an active lifestyle, participating in adaptive alpine skiing, kayaking, and canoeing, and frequently wins prizes in sports competitions.

To prevent complications such as scoliosis, contractures, and joint stiffness, Polina performs daily exercises at home. However, to achieve her primary goal—successfully entering university and transitioning to an independent life—she requires regular courses of intensive rehabilitation with professional physical therapists (3–4 times a year).
