Anghelika's first symptoms began three years ago: a high fever that nothing could bring down, yellowed whites of her eyes, weakness, and bruises on her body.
The treatment for leukemia involved several stages. Before the bone marrow transplant, our beneficiary underwent high-dose chemotherapy. During the illness, it was necessary to drastically change her diet. Physical exertion is currently difficult for her, and many exercises are impossible due to joint pain. It is hard for her to sit or stand without back support.
Anghelika would like to find a job, but at the moment, given her weakened physical condition, this is not easy.
The Oncologica Foundation provided Anghelika with transportation to another city for treatment, psychological support, as well as a consultation with a doctor to plan her further treatment path.
Let's help Anghelika and people diagnosed with cancer receive medical consultations to improve quality of life.
