Alexey needs rehabilitation to learn to walk

As a child, Alexey Yeryomin was an ordinary boy: school, chess, karate, dancing, and the guitar. But at the age of 14, a verdict was pronounced — a congenital vascular pathology of the brain. A miracle happened: the disease stalled. Alexey entered university, got his driver's license, and lived his life. But in 2012, he suffered two hemorrhages. A course of "CyberKnife" treatment helped, and he recovered. The fatal strike came in 2019 — his fourth stroke. He spent six months in the intensive care unit. He returned home completely immobilized, with a tracheostomy and a gastrostomy tube. He could only communicate by blinking his right eye. But he and his mother began to fight. Now, Alexey can move around the apartment independently in a wheelchair, takes his first steps using a walker, and types on a computer. All of this is thanks to constant rehabilitation. Alexey lives with his mother and elderly grandmother. "Mom is not getting any younger, I need to become independent," he says. His goal is to learn to walk so he can take care of himself. This fundraiser will help the young man go for rehabilitation again and get a little closer to fulfilling his dream.
