Since 2016, the "Dari Edu" (Gift Food) foundation has been providing food assistance to those in need: large and single parents, pensioners, and people with disabilities. They often lack money for food, spending everything on medications and utilities.
The holy month of Ramadan, a time of mercy, has begun. Together with Tooba, we are launching a fundraising campaign for those in need across Russia. We will use the collected funds to purchase food, assemble food packages, and deliver them personally to those in need.
Each package tells a story. Gambara Ziyatdinovna from Samara is 75 years old. Due to an illness, she is almost blind and has difficulty walking. She spends days in bed. Her son has not spoken to her for a long time. Her entire pension goes on medication, and she can't cook or go grocery shopping. Previously, neighbors helped her out, but now the foundation supports her.
There are thousands of such stories: parents torn between work and caring for children with disabilities, people who have lost their jobs. Food packages will cover basic nutritional needs, preserve energy, and give you confidence.
