Damir is eight years old. The first alarming changes were noticed about a year and a half ago: the child stopped reacting to his surroundings, did not respond to his own name, and lost interest in playing with peers. The family immediately went to the doctors, underwent numerous studies and therapeutic measures. When Damir was five years old, specialists finally confirmed the diagnosis of autism.
Although the path turned out to be difficult, the parents did everything possible to support their child: they took him to specialized clinics, swam in the pool, and used various types of therapeutic techniques. However, the cost of regular medical treatment proved to be unaffordable for the family, and it became difficult to continue the necessary treatment.
