Thanks to your support, Alina was able to receive a bone marrow transplant. The procedure was successful. Alina shares her news: "I'm doing better than ever; today is day 41 after the BMT. We're going for walks, getting our steps in, cooking together with my boyfriend, and I go to the hospital for check-ups once a week.

I'm very happy that the transplant took place and everything is going according to plan. I'm extremely grateful to the foundation and the donors who helped me pay for the transplant. Now I can live my life and be the healthiest and coolest version of myself. In short, thank you to everyone who cared."

Alina is only 21 years old and needs help with her blood cancer

Alina spent her childhood in the village, and she grew up with her grandmother. She was always an independent child, making various wooden toys and enjoying learning new things. However, after graduating from school, Alina faced a significant challenge when she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at the age of 19. From that moment on, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery and determination, enduring rigorous chemotherapy treatments. Despite experiencing a brief remission, the disease returned six months later. To fully conquer her blood cancer, Alina requires a bone marrow transplant. This is an expensive procedure that Alina cannot pay for on her own. Currently, the family's only source of income is the elderly grandmother's work. Alina's primary goal is to recover so that her grandmother doesn't have to work anymore. Let's help Alina overcome her illness!
