Kirill, who has SMA, has received a new standing frame

Kirill has type I spinal muscular atrophy. He is an active and curious boy who loves to draw, play with toy cars and listen to fairy tales. Kirill receives pathogenetic therapy and exercises regularly: he swims in the pool and attends physical therapy classes.

This summer, Kirill grew a lot, and the standing frame that allowed him to exercise at home became too small. This device helps to safely hold the body in a standing position, supports breathing and internal organs, and prevents the development of contractures. Without a standing frame of the right size, daily exercises at home had to be stopped.
