Vadim is 14 years old, an active and goal-oriented young man. He played hockey from an early age, competing in competitions and winning cups and medals. He dreamed of becoming a professional hockey player. But his dreams of a future were put on hold when Vadim was diagnosed with cancer. Last July, the young man developed pain. Doctors were unable to provide a definitive diagnosis for a long time, conducting various tests. When the pain intensified, they ordered an urgent MRI, which revealed a tumor. His local doctors decided to refer Vadim for treatment at the Blokhin National Medical Research Center, where he is undergoing chemotherapy.
