Aylana underwent a course of hearing and speech rehabilitation

5-year-old Ailana has been deaf since birth. She lived in complete silence for up to two years until cochlear implants were installed. These devices bring the child back to the world of sounds, but the implant itself is only the first step towards hearing and speech, because you also need to teach the brain how to use it. In order for the girl to learn to distinguish sounds and respond to questions with her voice, rather than with gestures, a course of auditory speech classes was necessary. And such an intensive course was held for Ailana in a specialized center.

"The rehabilitation went well. My daughter enjoyed going to classes, and the work on hearing and speech was comprehensive. The specialists worked on the development of communication skills, auditory attention and memory. Part of the lessons was devoted to developing the mobility of the articulatory apparatus. As a result, new words, sounds, and active speaking appeared in speech. But all the successes of my daughter's speech development would not have taken place without the support of tubers. I was shocked that our gathering was closed so quickly. I sincerely thank everyone for their concern," says Layxiang, the girl's mother.
