Mahmud and Other Beneficiaries of the Foundation Need Protection

Nine-year-old Mahmud is a sociable boy who loves playing with his peers and doing sports. But due to a severe diagnosis — a congenital immune disorder — he has to study remotely and strictly limit in-person communication with friends. Any chance encounter could turn into a dangerous infection.

Over the past year, Mahmud has been suffering from prolonged, severe illnesses: infections attack his weakened body without giving it a break. Based on the results of a genetic analysis, doctors in Moscow have selected replacement therapy with immunoglobulins for the boy — donor antibodies that can protect him and give him a chance at a normal life. Unfortunately, Mahmud's family cannot receive the medication through subsidies, and purchasing it on their own is an impossible task for a large family from the Chechen Republic. Mahmud dreams of becoming a police officer — strong, brave, and protecting others. But right now, he needs protection himself.

We are raising funds to pay for life-saving therapy for Mahmud and other beneficiaries of the Foundation with congenital immune disorders. They need these medications to overcome the disease and return to a normal life.
