Left alone, a child can stop growing and developing or lose acquired skills. A long solitary hospital stay can leave a lasting impact. During long hospitalizations, orphans are often left alone, and it's in these situations that we provide 24-hour nannies. The nanny's main task is to be close to the child, care for them, talk to them, cuddle them, and provide warmth. The nanny establishes a daily routine and does everything a parent should do—comforting, hugging, and supporting them. They spend weeks, and sometimes months, with the child.
