The funds from this campaign helped pay for round-the-clock nannies for two orphaned girls who came to Moskva for treatment in May.
Eva came from a children's home in Sverdlovskaya oblast for an important surgery. The nanny stayed with the girl in the hospital, helped her during the preparation for the operation, and supported her afterwards.
Margarita came from a children's home in Irkutskaya oblast for an important examination. In Moskva, doctors were supposed to assess the girl's condition and determine the next steps for her treatment. During all this time, a nanny from the foundation was also by Margarita's side.
For an orphaned child, a nanny in the hospital is an adult who stays nearby day and night, cares, comforts, and helps them get through a difficult period of treatment not alone.
