Thanks to the active participation of caring people, the fundraising for little Usmon has been completed. He received the necessary medication, 'Dzhakavi.'

Usmon Isoev is 2 years old and suffers from a severe hereditary blood disorder—beta-thalassemia. This disease deprives the body of the ability to produce hemoglobin on its own. From a very early age, he has required regular blood transfusions. However, the only chance to overcome the disease is to undergo a hematopoietic stem cell transplant.

Due to the large number of transfusions, antibodies have accumulated in Usmon's blood, which could reject donor cells during or after the transplant. To prevent this, the boy needs the medication 'Dzhakavi,' which greatly increases the chances that the new bone marrow will take root. His mother, Firuza, is raising four children on her own. The father works abroad, and his earnings are only enough to cover the family's basic needs in Sankt-Peterburg. After years of hospitals, intensive care, and fighting for the health of Usmon and his brother Ismoil, who has the same diagnosis, the family's financial resources have been exhausted, so without the help of kind people, they would not have managed.

Now the boy has a chance to prepare for the transplant and hope for a speedy recovery. Thank you to all users of the Tooba platform for taking part in the fate of little Usmon.

Campaign information

Usmon has a severe hereditary blood disease and needs medication

Usmon Isoev is two years old and has a severe hereditary blood disorder, beta-thalassemia. This disease deprives the body of the ability to produce adequate hemoglobin.

Usmon has required constant blood transfusions since infancy. But this is a temporary measure. The only chance to overcome the disease is a hematopoietic stem cell transplant. To help Usmon, doctors must carry out complex preparations. Due to numerous transfusions, antibodies have accumulated in the boy's blood that can reject the donor cells. To prevent this, the boy vitally needs the drug Jakavi. This medication greatly increases the chances of the new bone marrow engraftment.

Firuz's mother is raising four children alone. His father works abroad, and his income only covers the basic needs of the family in St. Petersburg. After years of hospital stays, intensive care units, and the struggle to save Usmon and his brother, who also has the same diagnosis, the family's financial resources have been exhausted.

This collection will help children take the most important step on the road to recovery and give them a chance at childhood.
