Dear friends, we want to say a huge thank you! Thanks to your responsiveness, the fundraising campaign for five-year-old Halisa has been successfully closed. Since birth, the girl has been fighting a severe primary immunodeficiency. Constant infections, stomatitis, otitis, abscesses, and pneumonia have plagued her from her very first days. She urgently needed a course of immunoglobulins — donor antibodies that replace her own immune system and give her a chance to overcome her dangerous condition. She simply had no time to wait months for government-subsidized medications. And you responded! Caring people came together, and the full amount needed was raised in its entirety. Halisa has primary immunodeficiency and requires replacement therapy

Constant infections, stomatitis, otitis, abscesses, and pneumonia — since birth, five-year-old Khalisa has been fighting the consequences of a dangerous and rare disease. Genetic testing confirmed that the girl has a congenital mutation — primary immunodeficiency. This means her little body is unable to fight off any infections, even the most harmless ones.

Right now, Khalisa is experiencing a severe exacerbation: doctors have diagnosed her with three serious conditions at once — pneumonia, otitis, and reflux. To cope with this blow and save the girl, she urgently needs a course of life-saving medication — immunoglobulins (donor antibodies) that will fill the gaps in her own immune system.

The girl's mother has already applied for subsidized medications, but the paperwork will take months to process. Khalisa doesn't have time to wait: she needs therapy right now to overcome this dangerous exacerbation and achieve positive progress.
