Sumaya is 10 years old. At the age of 3, she was admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of botulism, and doctors put her in an artificial coma. After 21 days, Sumaya was transferred to Moscow, where she was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis. She underwent two rounds of chemotherapy.

Gradually, Sumaya is regaining her lost skills. Thanks to regular sessions with a behavioral analyst, she has started eating on her own and has mastered toilet training. A partial understanding of spoken speech has appeared, and Sumaya is learning to communicate with others. But so far, the girl has no speech and undesirable behavior is observed.
