We have purchased gastrostomy tubes for Kira and the other children supported by the foundation. These specialized devices allow the children to receive nutrition, as they are unable to eat regular food—their bodies simply cannot process it. Without this specialized nutrition, the children cannot grow or gain strength.

These children rely on their gastrostomy tubes every day. Thanks to you, we have provided a supply of tubes that will allow their families to feed and care for them with peace of mind.

Kira is only 9 years old, but from birth she has demonstrated incredible strength and courage. She fights for her life every day, yet she delights everyone around her with her light and kindness.

Kira cannot speak, but she can sense and perceive the world around her. She communicates with loved ones through sights and sounds. She finds joy in simple things: walks in the fresh air, bright cartoons, and exciting train rides with her mother.

But for Kira to be able to live and do her favorite things, she needs a gastrostomy tube. This special device helps her receive nutrition, as she is unable to feed herself. Thanks to the gastrostomy tube, Kira receives all the necessary vitamins and strength to continue her adventures and delight the world with her presence.
