Polina has autism and delayed speech development. She needs to undergo a rehabilitation course so that she could learn to speak!

Polina was born on time and was absolutely healthy. She developed normally until the age of 18 months. But then there was an inexplicable regression: Polina lost her pointing gesture, stopped making eye contact and communicating. Examinations – EEG, MRI – showed no problems. And while doctors advised waiting, her parents didn’t sit idly by. They took Polina to sessions with specialists – a neuropsychologist, a speech therapist. At the age of 3 the girl was officially diagnosed with autism and received a disability. Polina is now 6 years old. Sessions with specialists and rehabilitation courses yield results. The seemingly forever lost pointing gesture appeared. Polina started responding when she heard her name better understanding what was happening around her. Moreover, the girl began to voice animals and name colors. For now, it is only the first syllables, but for her family this is the greatest and most long‑awaited happiness. Finally, there is hope that their daughter will be able to speak. So that Polina could learn to speak and communicate, she needs regular rehabilitation courses.
