Three specialists need to travel to Irkutsk to train doctors

Maria from Irkutsk was eagerly awaiting the birth of her daughter. During a routine checkup early in her pregnancy, she was diagnosed with spina bifida. Doctors said there was no cure. Maria didn't give up and began searching for information herself. That's how she learned about our foundation and the possibility of in-utero surgery. She was sent to Moscow, where doctors performed the surgery before her baby was born. Maria recently gave birth to a daughter, Anya. She is now developing well, thanks to the successful outcome of the diagnosis. Maria received help, but she had to travel thousands of kilometers to find qualified care. To make care more accessible, it's important to train doctors locally. Our specialists are currently being sought in Irkutsk. They will be able to impart knowledge on early diagnosis and proper care for pregnant women. This requires paying for tickets for three specialists.
