Tubers, we have great news about Fed, whom you helped raise funds for new "ears". The child's life has changed for the better! The boy hears everything around him: relatives at home, a sign language teacher in class, and children playing games. My speech will improve soon, thanks to my hearing and your support.

"The son hears everything, every rustle... It's just unbelievable! On the first day, he also wanted to take off the cameras — it was unusual for him, he was used to the silence around him. But then I realized the advantages of living with sounds, and now I'm going nowhere without my "ears"," says Fedya's mother Natalia.

Until Fedya had hearing aids, he did not want to go to kindergarten because he could not hear other children and had no interest in communicating with them. Now everything has changed: the boy wants to be friends with everyone and communicate with his peers, and he runs to kindergarten with pleasure.

"Thank you all so much for your kindness. The son heard this world and everything played in his life brightly, loudly, in a different way. Now we are waiting for the development of speech, we believe that we will quickly catch up and Fedya will speak," Natasha continues.

Fedya needs hearing aids to speak

A rare disease has disrupted the child's hearing, causing him to lose his speech skills. Hearing aids can restore hearing and the ability to contact this world.

At the age of 3, Fedya was diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidosis, in which internal organs are affected, dwarfism occurs, and vision decreases. Fedya's symptoms are only getting worse every day. Last summer, the baby was diagnosed with significant hearing loss, which caused speech to fade. Now he can only say "mom" clearly, the rest is the babble of a one–year-old child.

Hearing aids of a certain model, which are shown for mixed hearing loss and which, alas, cannot be obtained for free, will not only "turn on" the sound for Fedya. They will not just "put pressure on the ears" with volume, but will allow you to hear at different frequencies. This means that the boy will be able to distinguish, for example, "shcha" and "sha", "ba" and "pa", and will be able to make out whispers well from a distance of several meters. This will give the child's brain the right patterns for forming clear and literate speech. Fedya grows up without a dad, and his grandmother – mother brings up the boy all day at work in kindergarten. This small family cannot afford to buy the treasured devices for the baby themselves.
