It’s now easier for administrators to register new animals!

Over the past twelve years, hundreds of cats and dogs have passed through the doors of the “Helping Hand for Homeless Animals” Foundation. Behind every animal that finds a home lies not only the care provided by veterinarians and volunteers, but also a tremendous amount of work that goes on behind the scenes.

Every day, staff members register new arrivals, maintain their medical records, process paperwork, coordinate volunteers, and meet with potential adopters. Until recently, much of this work was done on paper, which meant it took time that could have been spent directly helping the animals.

To ensure administrative work didn’t slow down the main mission, the foundation needed tablets with access to a unified database. The tool is simple but fundamentally changes the pace: an animal can be registered immediately upon arrival with a photo, a description of its condition, and its history; a potential owner’s visit can be logged instantly; and a file for any animal in our care can be opened with just a few taps. Without this, every action required extra steps and time.

Your support helped four of the foundation’s administrative staff members get tablets and access to the shared system. Now the work is more coordinated, which means more energy and attention goes to those for whom all this is being done.
