Wound-healing supplies have been purchased!

Every day, the ‘Pitomets’ Veterinary Center takes in animals that have nowhere else to go. Cats and dogs arrive with open wounds after a harsh life on the streets.

Providing comprehensive treatment is a priority for the foundation. But behind this lies a simple and very specific need: supplies of wound-healing medications and bandaging materials must be constantly replenished. It is these supplies that determine how the recovery will go: whether the wound will heal cleanly, whether inflammation can be avoided, and whether the animal will be able to get through the post-operative period without unnecessary pain and stress. Even the most precise surgical procedure offers no guarantees if the essentials are lacking afterward.

Thanks to your support, we were able to replenish our supplies. The funds raised were used to purchase the necessary medications and bandaging supplies — everything needed for comprehensive wound care at every stage of healing. Over the course of a month, 30 cats and dogs received treatment, each of whom arrived with the hope of recovery and a new home.
