Daniil underwent nighttime video-EEG monitoring and consultation with an epileptologist

Daniil was born at full term, but with low birth weight. From early childhood, he suffered severely from pneumonia and bronchitis, and was frequently hospitalized. At the age of 2, he was diagnosed with severe asthma.

After years of bronchitis, pneumonia, and asthma, at the age of 8 he began having nocturnal seizures. Daniil underwent genetic testing, which revealed an unexplored genetic mutation responsible for epileptic encephalopathy.

Daniil is now 11 years old and in the 5th grade. Due to his illness, his memory and concentration are impaired, and studying is very difficult for him. He is a very sociable and kind boy, but he requires constant supervision and structured activities. Daniil's mother cannot work because she must care for her son full‑time. She dreams that his illnesses will recede and that he will be able to live a full life. To achieve this, funds are needed for diagnostic tests, medical consultations, and continued adjustment of his therapy.
