Salary for a psychologist who works with foster children with PTSD

If a child lives in an abusive environment in their birth family for a long time and then ends up in an orphanage, they are often diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder after moving to a foster family. Children in such situations avoid contact with adults, refuse to be touched, and often wake up in panic at night. Foster parents are willing to support them, but coping with the effects of trauma through home care alone is impossible. Without the help of a psychologist, the child will not be able to learn to trust and adapt to a new family life. The "Find a Family" Foundation is raising funds for psychological counseling sessions for foster children with PTSD who have suffered abuse. The therapy aims to reduce anxiety, restore attachment, and overcome the behavioral consequences of trauma.
