Marina is an orphan and she needs a nanny while she is undergoing treatment!

Marina doesn't remember her age, but she knows one thing for sure: hugging her warms her up. "I love you," she says to everyone who hugs her. Marina's mother abandoned her immediately after birth, having learned of her diagnosis: due to a spinal condition, she couldn't walk. So she ended up in an orphanage in Krasnodon, from where we helped her get treatment in Moscow. Marina recently underwent complex orthopedic surgery—her recovery isn't easy, but she's already making progress. "Marina doesn't remember her mother's arms, but she's ready to hug the whole world," says Larisa, the nanny who's always by her side. "When she's in pain, she whispers, 'Sit next to me.' And a minute later, she's smiling and saying she loves me." Marina has no one else but Larisa, so we pay for professional nannies to ensure each child has support.
