Eva underwent an important MRI scan and received a consultation from an epileptologist

Eva is almost 5 years old. She's an energetic, cheerful, and kind girl who dreams of having a dog. She was born full term but was immediately taken to intensive care. Doctors discovered a heart rhythm disorder. While they were determining the right treatment, it turned out that other organs were also experiencing problems. Eva had to undergo kidney surgery.

She was later diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis. This is a genetic disorder in which the body is "tuned" to grow tumors in various organs. Unfortunately, tuberous sclerosis is almost always accompanied by epilepsy. The seizures began when Eva was one year old. For several months, doctors were unable to find a treatment.

Now Eva urgently needs a brain MRI to monitor her progress and determine whether additional treatment is needed, as well as to schedule a consultation with an epileptologist.
