Friends, many of our cats have fragile health. Life on the streets, hunger, and illnesses have left their mark. Digestion often suffers the most.
Some cats cannot eat regular food — it causes diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Others suffer from allergies, which lead to itching, hair loss, and skin ulcers.
These cats need special food:
— Gastrointestinal — for cats with stomach and intestinal issues. It gently restores digestion, reduces inflammation, and helps absorb nutrients.
— Hypoallergenic — for cats with food allergies and intolerances. It eliminates all potential allergens and helps skin and coat return to normal.
Right now, dozens of cats at the shelter rely solely on this type of food. Some need it temporarily during recovery. Others must eat it for life because their bodies cannot handle regular food.
Our supplies of special food are running low. Without it, these cats will start suffering again.
We are raising funds for veterinary food — gastrointestinal and hypoallergenic.
