Yasmine had a successful operation!

Yasmina was born with severe intestinal abnormalities. In just four months of life, she underwent five surgeries. The foundation launched a fundraiser for treatment, but the girl's condition worsened. Doctors made an emergency decision to change tactics and perform surgery. Yasmina underwent emergency surgery, and the operation was a success! The surgeons did everything possible. Yasmina received a Broviac catheter for parenteral nutrition—now her body will receive everything it needs for growth and strength. Once her intestines enlarge and strengthen, a repeat operation will be performed so that the little girl can feed herself like other children. For now, mother and daughter remain in the hospital under observation. Her health is not in danger—the worst is behind her. Yasmina's mother is eternally grateful to every participant in the fundraiser—to everyone who donated, who supported, who shared their story. Recovery and a long-awaited home lie ahead.
