Danila was diagnosed with craniosynostosis – premature closure of the sutures in the skull. This became clear immediately after the baby was born: his head was disproportionate; in some places, the bones protruded, and in others, they were sunken. And it wasn’t just about an external defect: the brain was at risk internally, and as the boy grew, it could begin to experience excessive pressure, which would lead to serious pathologies. So, we prevented this process.

The operation lasted five hours, and Kristina’s mother was tormented by uncertainty while the doctors, as she puts it, shaped her son’s new head. Then came a day in intensive care, followed by three days with his eyes closed due to swelling and a fever. And then… Then everything turned out well. “The fact that the shape of the skull had changed was immediately noticeable! It’s much better now, it doesn’t protrude as much. The doctor said that the final alignment would happen gradually, over time.”

Right now, Danila is developing like children without any special needs. He’s already eating with a spoon — and he demands music to go with his meals: he points to the “Alice” speaker and dances along to “Blue Tractor.” He’s trying to walk on his own — for now, holding on to the sofa or armchair. He says “mom,” “dad,” “grandma,” and “give‑give.” He loves playing pat‑a‑cake, is wrecking the whole house, and is already showing his temper — grumbling and misbehaving.
