Alice and 13 other seriously ill children need special feeding tubes!

Alice and 13 other young patients of the palliative care unit have been fighting serious illnesses since birth. Despite the many diagnoses, their mothers take care of their children every day with great love and patience. Now they need help to purchase low-profile gastrostomes — special tubes that are installed in the stomach if a child cannot take food through the mouth. The state provides long gastrostomes, but they are uncomfortable and prevent children from moving. Low-profile gastrostomes are much better, but families live very modestly and cannot buy them on their own. Although a low-profile gastrostomy tube is not vital, it can greatly improve the lives of seriously ill children. We always say that even if a child cannot be cured, it does not mean that they cannot be helped.
