Artyom is 7 years old. He is a long-awaited and beloved son, and he was born healthy. At the age of 3 months, he was diagnosed with low muscle tone, and then he had his first epileptic seizure. Since then, his family has been fighting for his health, searching for doctors, adjusting medications, and undergoing resuscitation and rehabilitation. He has been diagnosed with several conditions, including epilepsy.
Despite these challenges, Artyom has made significant progress. He has learned to sit, crawl on all fours, and stand with support. He is currently learning to walk with support, which is his main goal. The boy is gentle and affectionate, and he loves swings, musical toys, and cartoons. He also engages in physical therapy, kinesiology, and speech therapy every day.
The family has found a doctor who is always available for communication. According to the doctor's recommendations, it is necessary to undergo regular check-ups every 6 months to adjust the treatment plan. Currently, Artem requires nighttime video-EEG monitoring, laboratory tests, and a consultation with a specialized doctor.
The family is seeking assistance to cover the expenses associated with these tests, which will help the boy achieve independent walking and a fulfilling life.
